This is so exciting! The book’s selling at Target. The book’s also available at the airport! Much thanks to everyone for making wonderful things happen for this story.

Book Launch!

The book launch was an incredible experience. Standing room only in the Pearl Room at Powell’s and then a standing ovation. I cried and not just because I’m a crier. Thank you all so much!

Portland Monthly

The West, Two Ways: An Excerpt from Jenny Forrester’s New Memoir
In Narrow River, Wide Sky, the local writer mines her childhood culture shock in Colorado.

Lidia Yuknavitch Mention!

The generous beyond generous Lidia Yuknavitch, author of several books, including Dora: A Headcase, Chronology of Water, The Small Backs of Children, and The Book of Joan (due out this month!), has an interview up on the Powell’s featured books blog. She mentioned me and said a thing, “Radical Innovators” and I’m one of them. Love, love, love. Read the whole thing

PomPom Lit

So grateful to be published in a new Lit Journal. Love to PomPom Lit!

Winter Institute and It Begins!

Rhonda Hughes is the best editor I could ever hope to know. They say to edit is divine. So true. All thanks forever.

Book Signatures

The publisher had a party with some amazing Portland women in publishing. I got a real copy of my book. There’s a limited number of them in the world (galleys for book sellers and review copies for reviewers). So, this one I got to keep is so precious.
